Inaugural Edition

KAFART’s inaugural edition took place on 9 November 2019 at Lumana Multipurpose Event Center in Kaduna. The one-day programme brought art and fashion together through an exhibition, a fashion show, performances, and opportunities to encounter and purchase work by participating creatives.

The edition foregrounded sustainable creativity, asking how art and fashion might inspire more environmentally sustainable ways of living. More than 100 works by artists from across Nigeria were presented, creating a meeting point for artists, designers, vendors, partners and audiences in Kaduna.

The day also marked the launch of The Revue, KAFART’s first magazine.
