KAFART POP-UP

KAFART POP-UP took place on 14 June 2025 at the British Council in Abuja, bringing KAFART to the city for the first time with the support of the British Council. The one-day gathering brought together artists, fashion designers, performers and audiences from Northern Nigeria and beyond.

The programme included exhibitions, artist and designer talks, presentations, pop-up shops, performances and a printmaking workshop. It created space for peer learning, exchange and collaboration between emerging and mid-career practitioners, while presenting contemporary practices rooted in heritage and shaped by new ideas.
