Maryam Maigida

Maryam Maigida is a visual artist, freelance painter and art historian, and CEO of the Art Cave Studio & Gallery. She is a member of the Female Artists Association of Nigeria (FEAN) and the Art Ambassador to Nigeria for the Funun Arts group, Dubai. She obtained her degree in Fine Arts (Art History major) from the School of Arts at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and has since advanced as a full-time studio artist. She has participated in several exhibitions within and outside Nigeria, most recently Apex Art (Arewa Me Too) in New York, the Obsidian group exhibition (Black History) in London, and World Art Dubai 2020/2022.
